Graduates students at Carleton University

At the present time more than 50 graduate students are doing their research work in the field of integrated sensors platforms towards the masters and doctoral degrees within the Faculty of Engineering and Design. Research in this field is multi-disciplinary and is part of a number of graduate programs offered by several departments within the Faculty of Engineering and Design. Most of the research projects are joint activities with industrial partners.

Applicants interested in pursuing graduate studies or post-doctoral research assignments in the field of integrated sensors platforms are encouraged to apply for one of the following programs that include active research in this field.

Programs in Electrical and Computer Engineering that require research thesis

  • M.A.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering (research thesis)
  • Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering

These programs are offered through the Ottawa-Carleton Institute for Electrical and Computer Engineering (OCIECE), which combines the resources of the Department of Systems and Computer Engineering and the Department of Electronics at Carleton University, with the School of Information Technology and Engineering at the University of Ottawa. Together they form one of the largest Electrical and Computer Engineering programs in Canada, providing access to a very large number of graduate courses and laboratories.
