CRISP is a research center of excellence supported by a prominent academic institution. The center places high priority on the advancement and dissemination of knowledge, and on creating an environment that stimulates innovative thinking and new discoveries. The center also provides opportunities for the education and training of highly qualified personnel and encourages multi-disciplinary research based on collaborative team work.
The mission of CRISP is summarized in the following:
- Conduct research in advanced integrated sensors platform technologies and their applications to improve the quality of life and enhance the safety and security of society,
- Development of academic research programs for the creation of scientific knowledge and the establishment of novel concepts, new business models and best practices in the design, fabrication and testing of integrated sensors platforms,
- Advancement of the education and training of highly qualified professionals to meet future needs of industry and academic institutions.
